A badly degraded spray foam roof in the Philippines. When you skip inspection and maintenance, it becomes very costly to fix. Don't delay.
Exposed Foam = UV Degradation
Spray foam roofs are usually coated with acrylic or silicone roof coatings upon installation to protect it from UV degradation.
Spray polyurethane foam in good condition has a pale yellow color. Once it has turned orange, degradation has occurred and the foam may need to be scarified and resprayed by professional spray foam contractor.
EnergyGuard Aromatic Polyurethane is a high VOC product and cannot be shipped to California. Use PrimeLock Epoxy Primer and EnergyMax Silicone Coating instead.

How long will the roof coating system last?
Longevity of a roof coating system depends on the coating chemistry, installation integrity and maintenance. All our 30 dry mil systems are eligible for a 10 year warranty when installed by an approved contractor. We can do this because we are confident that it will last longer than that.
Can I apply the product myself or do I need a roof contractor?
It depends on the size and condition of your roof. A small, simple roof may qualify as a weekend job for a building owner. A large roof that leaks and needs repairs should definitely be restored by a roof coating contractor.
